Bringing you the covers of classic rock, folk and bluegrass hits along with original arrangements from musical duo Mood Swing. The Tulelake-Butte Valley Fair is happy to have this terrific duo returning to the fair this year to soothe your soul.
Uplifting acoustic folk-country music
Wampus Cat are Matt and Rachel Wilson along with a collective of collaborative musicians/friends, creating uplifting acoustic folk-country music. Matt and Rachel began playing music together after Matt suffered a near fatal horse accident on the Sycan Marsh while doctoring cows for a local ranch. They travel all over the western United States sharing their original music, western art, and stories with audiences of all ages.
Rockabilly/blues/rock n roll/country style mesh together like a well oiled machine for this local favorite. The guys started writing originals and have become very well liked by a diverse fan base of young and young at heart with the revival of American roots/blues based music. Be on the look out for the Black Cadillac Kings rolling through town and hop on board. You won’t want to miss this ride!
Los Sismos de Michoacán formed in 1990 when a group of friends began playing music at local parties in Klamath Falls, Oregon. They now play all over the United States and Mexico serving the Hispanic public with their Tierra Caliente genre of music.

We are excited to be brining Chef Landry’s Comedy Cajun Cooking Show to the 2018 Tulelake Butte Valley Fair! This is the first year he will perform at the fair and we are sure he will be a big hit! The show takes a novel approach by entertaining while educating. The show is interactive and features Cajun comedy and Bayou style cuisine, preparing meals that include Louisiana staples like crawfish, alligator, crab, shrimp and other justly famous delicacies.Chef Scott Landry hails from Lake Charles, deep in the heart of Cajun country in Southwest Louisiana. His family has lived there since the French Acadians migrated there in the 1700s. He grew up in the kitchen, where family and friends prepared spicy Cajun meals and passed on their memories and love for food through stories and conversation. In 1990, Chef Landry started a comedy cooking school for conventions that he was catering, and the rest is history.
THE PIRATE’S PARROT SHOW is a fun, educational, and interactive experience for all ages and cultures. This informative show comes complete with a large variety of parrots from around the world, “real” pirates, an authentic Pirate Ship display, and delightful speech and freeflight performances. Each year, 30-50 thousand people from across the country are amazed and delighted to safely hold and pet these parrots. Ahoy, matey, join us on the poop deck for a jolly good time!

DENNIS FOREL specializes in performing at many local, county, and state fairs as well as a large amount of corporate and private events. His repertoire of over 108 different animals, have taken him to state and county fairs across the country.

Through their passion for education and the natural world they have made it their goal to provide the opportunity for others to learn about, view, and even touch some of the most beautiful and exotic animals on our planet. Our most popular exhibit at the 2017 Tulelake Butte Valley Fair is back! Cold blooded fun at its finest, this exhibit showcases a variety of animals from around the world. Interact with some of the world's most fascinating and unusual creatures. See, touch and learn about captive-raised reptiles, amphibians and arthropods from the near and far places of our world. Science artifacts, nature videos, hatching snake eggs, parrots, and even an alligator are included in this unique exhibit.

A family favorite for many years! The Rawhide Express will return to the 2018 Tulelake Butte Valley Fair so people can sit back and enjoy a tour of the grounds! Catch a ride from anywhere and the conductor will give you a guided tour through the fairgrounds so patrons can choose where they would like to spend more time later in the day!.

The cloning process is complete and that means that the Dinosaurs are coming to the the Tulelake-Butte Valley Fair! Charlie the Velociraptor, and Brutus, the T Rex, are making their debut along with their baby cousin Sophie, a Brachiosaurus, here at Fair-time. This is a true Jurassic experience that families don’t want to miss. On display every day of the fair. You will also see them strolling around several times a day. A great photo opportunity and you will only find it if you attend. See you at the Fair!
Great FUN for young and old alike!
You can walk on water! The water balls are very simple and easy to use - just open up the zipper, enter inside, insert clean air, close the zipper and it’s ready! You can walk, jump, roll and float on water.

Another long-standing family friendly activity at the fair is the Pony Rides! This is something that we believe any child that comes to the fair should have the opportunity to ride a pony. The Tulelake Butte Valley Fair pays for this attraction to be available for all four days.
