Operated by the 10A District Agricultural Association on behalf of the State of California, the Tulelake Butte Valley Fairgrounds is governed by a nine-member board, all appointed by the Governor. Each serves a four-year term.
The Board meets monthly and appoints a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) charged with the day-to-day operation of the facilities.
Meeting notices, agendas and supporting documents are posted as required by the California Bagley-Keene Open Meeting Act. If you have a topic or issue of interest to present to the Board, please contact the fairgrounds office at least 10 business days prior to the meeting date to be placed on the agenda. If the topic/issue is not on the agenda, you may present it during the Public Comment but there will be no discussion on the matter by the board.
Correspondence is forwarded to the board on a weekly basis. Correspondence is considered public and is included in the monthly board packet
