HOW TO ENTER THE FAIR!

1. Review the Exhibitor Information, PDF's listed by Department Below

2. Determine the Department, Division and Classes that you wish to enter.

3. To enter online follow the instructions below: .

  • Create an account (a new one must be set up each calendar year). The account must be the individual that is entering the item. Be sure you receive a confirmation email that your account has been created.
  • Enter all classes that you wish to enter under your account. A credit card will be required for the entry fee.
  • Be sure to “Checkout” or “Submit” your entries for them to actually be processed. You should receive a confirmation email of the items entered. If you DO NOT receive this email confirmation you need to go back into your account and double check that it was submitted.
  • Entries that have been received will have been sent a confirmation email; if you did not receive a confirmation your entry was not received--check your spam folder.

4.To Enter by Paper Application:

  • Print out the entry form from our website, or come to the fair office to pick one up.
  • Submit completed Entry Form to the fair office by dropping it off in-person to our office, or mailing it to our PO Box 866 Tulelake, CA. 96134.

5. ENTRY DEADLINE FOR ALL STILL EXHIBITS AND BREEDING LIVESTOCK (ONLINE & PAPER) must be RECEIVED by our office by August, 15th, 2025.

6. By entering through the online system or on a paper form, you are acknowledging that there are no refunds of any fees that have been paid.

7. BE SURE to have read all the rules, code of conduct and release of liability contained in the Exhibitor Information. All Exhibitors will be responsible to abide by this information.

If you are entering a livestock category please ALSO email tbvflivestock@gmail.com with the following information:

  • Your Name, Number of animals you are bringing, and the number of pens/stalls you would like.

Independent Exhibitors

For market projects only

Independent Livestock and Industrial and Vocational Ag Exhibitors need to declare that they are going to be an independent exhibitor by March 1 of the current year. Please submit the intent to participate form to the fair office by email - nancy@tbvfair.com or drop it by the fair office.

2025 Independent Exhibitor Scheduled Meetings

Tentative 2025 Meeting Schedule:
Exhibitor and Leader/Parent must attend three independent exhibitor meetings throughout the year prior to the 2025 Tulelake Butte Valley Fair. An email will be sent to exhibitors/parents/leaders 10 days prior to the meeting. Draft Tentative Meeting Schedule for 2025:
  • Monday, June 16
  • Monday, July 21
  • Wednesday, August 27

Meeting times TBD; dates are subject to change, will stick as close to this meeting schedule as possible.

QUALITY ASSURANCE REQUIREMENT - ALL JR. LIVESTOCK

WE WILL BE HOSTING AN IN PERSON QA CLASS ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 16TH AT 5:30 AT THE FAIRGROUNDS. ALL Youth Livestock Exhibitors coming to the fair with a market animal MUST have Quality Assurance Training. Each exhibitor will NEED to turn in a copy of your online course completion certificate to the fair office prior to the closing of entries for their specific project. The Quality Assurance Class must be taken by the exhibitor every year. If you did not attend the live class in April, you must take it online before your entries are due. A copy of the certificate is required with your entry.
